Dee,
Dust down yer sledge lass and get yerself off t'Celebration where the snow falls everynight. We go every year on Christmas Eve and all the kids (big ones too) love it.
You could try caroling but do wear your bullet proof vest for gun toting locals, be prepared to be cautioned by the old bill for deed violations/soliciting and take your baseball bat for on the loose rottweillers, etc.
Now to make you really feel Christmassy hum the tune ...
'Give me sunshine, give me rain ......'
Also 'I'm not playing the wrong notes. I'm playing the right notes, they are just not in the right order'
Finally.... Get yerself dressed up for Christmas with yer Santa at and a bit of mistletoe tucked in yer air. As Dellboyt would say - you look a right plonker Rodernee!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Have a good Boxing Day too.

Hi Dee,
This note is coming all the way from England where it is b....y freezing and judging by people's faces, no Christmas spirit - only joking, just trying to make you feel better. Actually, it is a beautiful day, the sun is shining at the mo but just wait until 3 o'clock when it is starting to get dark, a horrible wet mist comes down and you have to make your way to the car park after you have been Christmas shopping, the car park that you have to pay thru the nose for I might add - I thought I was buying it it was soo expensive, you then have to battle the traffic with everybody honking and hooting and the usual spattering of road rage, hey ho great place to live. Just psyching myself up for next year when this could be my abode, OMG it's only 10.30 in the morning but I need a drink I am so depressed, joking again!!!
Anyway Dee, even though it's hot over there hope you have a great Xmas and will get together in the New Year - that's if the rottweillers haven't got ya!!

Hi Annie, bless you for taking the trouble to answer from all across the pond, see nothing as changed as far as traffic and road rage is concerned then lol, and dont worry if its only 10 30 where you are have a drink, its 5 o clock somewhere in the world tee hee, hope you are having a great time with your son and family, its just not the same here, and that is weird because we have spent xmas in Florida for the last 12 years, it is just too hotand to spot b....y valentines cards on shelves well I ask you what is all that about lol, anyway to all of you who should be having snow (Kriz1 and Britcan) I will keep my fingers crossed for you cos it should be snowing at this time of year, oh well going to dig out my scrooge film and try and get in the mood, so Annie Kriz and Britcan have a fab Christmas and a very happy new year, I will be thinking of you:confused:
