I just thank heavens I carried on paying contributions in the UK as I just got my pension. I would recommend anyone to do that. You can even claim it in the US if you never end up going back.

Job market not good in the UK, but particularly if you are young or old. If you are under 25 or over 55, you have a hard time. In the middle, it depends on what you do.
