Some may be pleased to know that we have just received a new five year visa...... and the best bit.......... we did the renewal all by ourselves. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can.
Oh, and both our kids are now married to USC's ... and I'm about to become a grandad again. Happy to help anyone if I can. DYT ...... and the UK is friggin' colder than I remember. ![]()

Update: Second grandchild arrived. All is well. Both kids now have green cards. Both on $60k+. ( remember me in my old age children ). Daughter applying for citizenship.
Me & Mrs DYT ? Who knows. Part of me wants to return to the UK. For now, at least till the next renewal, we'll sit back safe in the knowledge that the kids are doing ok. Maybe put the biz on the market. Hope everyone else is fairing well.

I have a new grandchild too..a little girl..my dad died 2 weeks ago..trying to get back to the UK maybe for Christmas...I get the feelings my mums friends think I have been on this USA 'holiday' too long now and should go back...yeah right..
Glad the kids are all OK once they are set it makes life easier..I like FL but since moving into the town we live in now..not sure FL is where I would like to retire..I like walking to everything..its just the snow putting me off staying up north in old age.
